Malawi Mourns for the death of Charles Swini

Malawi have lost one of the legendary goalkeepers Charles Swini, who has died at Kamuzu central hospital at the age of 38 after battling kidney problems.
Charles Swini was admitted on Monday at kamuza central hospital, one of his close friends Rodney Domingo confirmed to Zodiak today morning.
On behalf of the Football Association of Malawi and the entire football fraternity FAM General Secretary Alfred Gunda extended the heartfelt condolences to swini Family.
"In this sorrowful time, we would like to extend to the family of Swini our heartfelt condolences. May our Lord comfort you and your loved ones in these trying times. Our prayer is that the soul of Charles should rest in eternal peace," said Gunda.
Charles Swini played for Escom united from 2008 to 2012 he joined Silver strikers from 2012 to 2015 and went to UD Songo in Mozambique in 2015 he later joined Civo united 2020. Swini also represented Malawi National team (the frames) in the 2010 African cup of Nations.
